Well, At Least I Wrote Something

I had some free time this afternoon, and the voices in my head (aka my muses) were bouncing off the walls so I decided to sit down and write. It has been some time since I posted a chapter of APoM or SoF, and APoM has half a chapter written, so I decided to work on that. When I opened up my WIP folder, I saw this file:

You interested in Stranger Things - Original Flavor? (And by Original I mean not the original version of the story, but with all original (ha ha cough cough) characters that are not belonging to Tolkien in any way).

Somehow, it's developed its own background and cast, as well as a mythology and life of its own.
And I am shocked, in researching various mythos, how awfully similar Middle Earth is to, say, Norse and old German mythology.
