I agree with maeritrae and also agree with you when you write that Hector could have made no other choice. Hector is loving and is also respectful of law and rules, and especially since Agamemnon kind of overreacted with his assault, it's even more understandable that Hector chooses for his brother. Love and the ties of family are so powerful!

I love your characterization of Hector ^_^
