Shows the inherant high trust levels in the relationship as well as the darker side of exploration :)

You think that's bad?

Two pieces I've written for this pairing (my porn pairing for this fandom) and Galahad's topped both times. Which is fine and dandy...except for the part where I think about the couple and pretty much every neuron agrees "Sixty-forty split - in Gwain's favour."

I see Gwain as being the more dominant partner yet in both cases he's been the bottom. I need help.

More dominant partner aside ... It doesn't always translate to the bedroom. Sometimes the dominant one likes the other to initiate and take over and to be honest, the struggles at the start could suggest that this is new, that he is a little uncomfortable with not being able to move ... Also just cause he isn't the one giving it doesn't mean that he won't!

See I'd have a whole conversation about this but then you would be very freaked and start wondering how I know the stuff I know and then it's just gonna hurt your brain!

I don't know - my mental image of Galahad is as someone slightly unstable. Occaisionally brilliant, occaisionally nuts. I see him as having a quicksilver personality.

Gwain I see as more pragmatic, more...well grounded. I think that he tends to wind up "dominating" things almost by default.

But that wasn't really what I meant. I know that it doesn't translate...what I was trying to bitch about was the fact that the two fics both kinda swung on the "This-isn't-how-it-usually-happens" idea.

i.e. Galahad was doing something that while not unheard of isn't run of the mill. He got stressed, worried and was looking for reassurance.

It's not a major point but I feel the fic(s) suffer a little because of it.
