I'm a bit at a loss for words right now. This is lovely.
All the little things and details (Dimitrov, Rafa's ringtone, haters gonna hate, and everything else, basically) made this such a great right. I really love the press conference bits too, they seem so realistic to me.

Lol, IDK the Pique rumors are pretty bad, the British commentators for my stream of the Arsenal-Barca even mentioned Shakira during the match XD.
So maybe IRL she's laughing because everyone thinks she's with Pique but she's actually doing Rafa hahahahaha.

This fic is so awesome for so many reasons. Most significant was that Novak had to do it as a joke to get what he wanted and Rafa thinking about his parents.

But it's the little touches that really make the fic: Novak getting eaten by wolves, Djordje seeing it as a chance for Marko to stop flirting with Maribel, Murray tagteam (and Rafa thinking Andy breathes easier because he's won a Slam :) ), and the Bryans seeing it as their next gig.
