I have no voice! I woke up Saturday with a sore throat, same thing on Sunday, and after my Sunday nap, I had no voice at all. None. I squeak and rasp; comparisons have been made to "The Godfather." And speaking of the Scarlet Pimpernel - have you seen the old black and white version with Leslie Howard? It's very good - he is extremely debonair in the role. :D

(Is your title a reference to the awesome film "The Emperor's New Groove? - "squeak squeakety squeak" "have you seen my acorn?") :D

Thanks! My voice has already come back a bit, but there is still a lot of squeaking going on...

Yes! I love that version too--Leslie Howard is wonderful, and I do love Merle Oberon's Marguerite. But the Anthony Andrews version will always be my favorite--I grew up watching that one, so it's got childhood nostalgia in its favor. :)

(Yes, it is....I'm a dork. :D That movie is hilarious!)
