Meme!Put iTunes on "Shuffle" and write out the first lyric line from the first 25 songs on the list (I skipped instrumental songs and the like).  See if people guess the songs (riiiiight).

I know, isn't that annoying? And then it bugs you all day (or maybe it just bugs me...) And as for too many people singing it, yes. I think for a lot of these songs, I've got at least 3 versions of them. Anyways, I put up exactly where each one is from, just fyi. All of yours were right except 10.

I don't know why I do these memes, but for some reason I find them extremely interesting... :) Sorry!

Oh I know! It's really tormenting. x_@

Is it called 'The Way We Were' then cause that's what I thought it was called at first but then I second guessed. (My knowledge of the song comes from watching Tom Hanks sing part of it in 'BIG' *g*)

heh I agree. I think with these music-guessing memes its kind of a way to find out who listens to the same sorts of stuff you do. Or maybe that's just what fascinates me about it. XD

:)
And yes! It is "The Way We Were"--I got it from a CD my mom had of a Barbra Streisand concert... :)

I think I like these memes for the same reason--to see who else listens to this random obscure stuff...or not so obscure stuff. Either way, it's fun to be like "hey! I know that song!" Feelings of accomplishment and all that. :)

5. Impossible!; It's Possible! from Rodgers And Hammerstein's Cinderella
19. If I Can't Love Her

And I know I've heard 24, but I can't think of the title.

That's all I've got. (Although I'd like to point out that I knew 13, 16, and 25.)

I love the Beauty and the Beast original Broadway cast recording. It's perfect lovelyness.

Thank you! Have you watched much of my recently discovered beloved Hogan's Heroes?

Isn't it loverly? The only bad thing is that it doesn't have "A Change in Me" which they added to the show when Toni Braxton joined the cast a couple years later. But Susan Egan did record "A Change in Me" on her solo album "So Far", so I've just added that song into my Beauty and the Beast playlist on iTunes and all is happiness. :D

I actually didn't know it was from Hogan's Heroes--just loved the "lemme think" part that goes so perfectly with the picture! I think I've only seen part of one episode, so I don't know much about it.

17 is correct, but 21 isn't... Thank you for commenting though! :D

Ooh, can totally see why they thought 21 was from The Little Mermaid. I thought the same thing the first time that I read it, until I looked closer at it and realized that it wasn't.

I saw that and totally didn't get why anyone would think that, mostly because I know what the song is and it is so far removed from Little Mermaid that "Her Voice" never even went through my head. But looking at it now, it is awfully similar, isn't it?
