Stolen from...somewhere, don't remember who, but it looks cool. :)

I'd snag this, but I'd come out looking bad, so I won't. Let's see...

I've read the Jane Austen books (of course), The Hobbit, and The Scarlet Letter. (I think...)

What I haven't finished/or just skimmed/or just read part of once for school: The Silmarillion, Don Quixote, Moby Dick, Jane Eyre, Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West, The Mists of Avalon, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Treasure Island.

I haven't bought anything, because I never buy books I haven't read. What if I don't like them? Then I wasted money I'll never get back. Books aren't cheap. I read everything before I buy it, unless it is incredibly low in price.

Wow. That's not very many. :-/

Well, I snagged it, and it still came out looking bad. But there are a whole lot that I haven't heard of, and others that I've heard of and don't want to read (Lord of the Rings...I'm not a fan).

I'm usually with you on the reading books before I buy. But I also buy a lot of my books at thrift shops, for fairly cheap, so there I'm willing to take a chance on books I've never heard of. I've actually found some of my favorite books that way--"Daddy Long Legs" by Jean Webster, for example. It's one of my absolute favorites, about a orphan girl sent to college by a "mysterious benefactor." It's all in letters, and so good! I highly recommend it--It is one of my favorites. And a quick read. :) But at a full price bookstore? I only buy it if I've read it before, or its the newest book in a series I'm following by an author I love.

Have you seen the movies? Or are you flat out not interested in it in any way?

Oo! I just got Daddy Long Legs from the library!

(sorry, I know this is old...) I saw part of the LOTR movies, but wasn't intrigued enough by the 10 minutes or so that I saw to watch any more, considering my definite dislike (Hate, loathing, insert other strong dislike word here) for the books. And partially because they are extremely popular and I've always been a bit stubborn about not liking things that everyone else does. (yes, it's silly. I know. :) )
Let me know how you like Daddy Long Legs, even if you don't like it... No one else I know has read it, so I'd like to "talk" about it with some one, even if they dislike it. :)
