Frankenstein

Is it just me, or is Victor Frankenstein (not the creature, who surprisingly enough has no name) one of the most annoying protagonists in all of literature?  I mean honestly, he creates this amazingly awesome thing (although I'm not begrudging him his fear, that would be pretty freaky)  but then runs and hides under his covers like a girl.  Oh my ( Read more... )

Hey, I still need to send you some stuff. But your post on Wuthering Heights made me wonder if you know about the ballet score of Wuthering Heights, composed by Claude-Michel Schoenberg. He's the dude who composed Les Miz, Miss Saigon, Martin Guerre, and Pirate Queen, of course. I just bought his CDs of Wuthering Heights -- it's all orchestral music to go with the ballet, but I like it.
