I like Hirosue Ryoko very much as an actress. She has been so good in a large variety of roles. Sato is all right, but I cannot help notice the 8 years disparity in age. It seems that a long of younger Japanese men are attracted to relatively older women. [Several dramas about that situation.]

If she really spend the night at his place, there isn't much room for an explanation, is there? What about the kids? I suppose they have a nanny.
