Isn't he like.. 35? With the career length (closing in on 20 years) of his, this is a disappointment.
Repetitive 5 minutes with glaring pronunciation issues.
Kind of like.. 夏炉冬扇 . don't know how to put it in English.

Yeah, he's 30+ but most of his successes lie in Taiwan (and some of China). TBH I expected his Japanese pronunciation would be decent but that was too high of an expectation since I couldn't hear the majority of what he was singing.

LOL I THOUGHT THE IDIOM YOU LISTED WAS IN CHINESE (since this is a Show Luo post) so I was twirling my head going, "huh" until I was like "oh it's Japanese"

WWWJDIC lists the idiom as "useless things" and I can see why based on its literal translation (summer fires and winter fans) but I'm still a little unclear about it. If you can could you explain more?

Don't know much of him, just saw him in a promotion event some years ago (I work for a publishing house). He was nice though, good manners and that's why I remembered him and opened this post.
Yes, huge problems with the language.. dnw. I mean, I could understand most, almost all of what he said but I had to listen carefully and use the "foreigner filter" in my ear... like too much during the last years in music.
Yes I'm Japanese :)

Let me try: it kind of means that you (he) should know what things shouldn't be done and are unnecessary and useless. Like using a heater/radiator during summer and aircon during winter ^__^

Wahhhh the girl looks a lot like Ga-in

And the jungle animal concept

The song is a toe-tapper but he honestly could do a lot better.

OKAY I THINK THE GIRL IS GA-IN

So basically we have a Taiwanese singer with a Korean girl in the lead singing a song in Japanese

It's all cool

(edit: Err, maybe this song was released already in Chinese but I didn't hear about this until now so I probably look like an idiot for pointing this out)

Why is this tagged hallyu? Show's Taiwanese, not Korean...

Was wondering the same.

The female lead of this PV, Gain from brown eyed girls, is Korean. :)
