Wow.... that's such subtle toture. I'd never think that a game could/would be used in such a manner... It's really saddening that the kid developed dysautonomia from it. I remember when I was that age, just about EVERY little thing would creep me out and stick with me, and a lot of things that traumatized me at that age have STILL stuck with me to this day. I feel really bad for the kid. I hate it when step-parents treat their step-children like shit. Before you got into the relationship, you were probably well aware of the baggage and responsibilities that would come with it. It's absolutely unnecessary to treat the child like shit just because you don't want to be a parent. Either take proper responsibility or gtfo. How hard is it to just be nice to a kid? idgi. People like that sicken me... ugh.

yikes! I have experienced the same thing when I was younger. Not being forced into playing a video game but the whole getting sick part. I got it from anxiety disorder and being around my mom's husband that was a real jerk that verbally abused me a lot. My mom did it too but not as much.

Glad his mother noticed something wrong and got help. As long as he lives in a calm, safe, peaceful environment he should be fine in no time :) getting a child therapist also helps as well so he can talk it out and let out the stress. As for the father, I hope he gets what's coming to him.

why would he forced the kid to play, especially that game? Was it a bad choice of a game or he MEANT to destroy the kid's mental or something?
Like, if the kid is being naughty then punish him in the room with school books, if the kid annoys him so mcuh then maybe give him another game like idk Harvest Moon ???
