I'm happy to see that he's okay.
What do they expect him to do? Digging a hole and hide there for the next years and not living his life? It's not like he murdered someone and is now still walking around free. He got fired. Just because he doesn't look like it, doesn't mean he doesn't regret what he did and I'm sure he does.
