The government held a Cool Japan promotion meeting on April 3 where officials proposed creators work on the campaign's posters and slogans for free. What an idiots. If you want a sector to florish, you'll have to start paying the people who do the work -- otherwise there won't be anybody left. People gotta live and eat -- how exactly does the government think the artists get the money for that if they have to work for free?
