I'm sure it could it just be inferred that I didn't intend to be racist or offensive judging by the content of my post, and that I simply used it as an abbreviation for Japanese just as one would use "brit" for "british", but whatever helps you sleep at night. I have to say though, it's definitely quite embarrassing that you felt the need to nit-pick at such a tiny detail. I'm sure you're the type that likes to take the time out of their day every time someone abbreviates "Japanese" as "Jap" on music videos, lyric translations, and etc.
