When Fuji TV announced the return of Iron Chef to primetime television, a lot of buzz was generated. However, their two-hour debut claimed just a 10% share of the ratings, half of what the original program regularly held. It got worse from there as later episodes slunk to around 7%.

if you search "KITCHEN STADIUM" or "アイアンシェフ" in http://i.youku.com/u/UMjk2MzI3OTQ4/videos, some vids should turn up - although it seems like they deleted the first episode. Idk if this works in Canada though because youku also seems to block some countries...

Watched all episodes so far, the first epi was the worst! The after is getting better or maybe its coz the var has fallen, iron chef french creation not as wowing as sakai's, if wanna make direct comparison, lol

So bottom line just watch it for candies lol, or maybe aibachan will guest judge here since its ftv n well, ikuta toma already guest judge, might as well? Lollll....

Or maybe it's because Japanese TV audience (not only Japan though) has seen too much food on TV? I think almost every variety show in Japan includes food one way or the other. Maybe people aren't so wowed with seeing delicious food on TV anymore.

I watched one of the episodes, and I gotta say, nothing's really special. I ended up just staring at Tamaki when he's on screen LOL
