Dunno if Nintendo suing them is going to accomplish much, though. I'm pretty sure PETA is protected by fair use and parody laws, even if this game WAS a piece of shit.
If they have a case against PETA they might as well sue South Park, Robot Chicken, Simpsons, SNL, and any other thing that's done Pokemon parodies.
I mean PETA sucks and all but if Nintendo gets away with a lawsuit that sets a VERY scary precedent for the legal status of parody and the state of IP law in this country.
I wouldn't call that a parody though. A parody is meant to poke fun at something, but this game was more along the lines of slandering. I don't know about the laws in the US, so I can't say if they can sue or not, but PETA meant for that game to go along of the lines of ruining the reputation of Pokémon.
