I'm a bit indifferent toward this kid before. Love his performance in Kokuhaku though, the stereotypical passionate young teacher character turned on its head.

But his appearances in Shabekuri sold me. He's doesn't take himself too seriously, which is charming.

Ah geez, would love to watch Uchuu Kyoudai.

And I just remembered that Oguri and Okada worked together before in HanaKimi -maybe they were good acquaintances then and this movie just strengthen them being as brothers. :)
