actually, I'm still catching up with this older blog (the two websites are related). It has a ton of info you will never find in mainstream Japanese sources and a lot of commentary about the Japanese entertainment industry and how it operates (hint: like the mafia). It's no longer being updated and the writer now writes for neojaponisme (he wrote this specific article).
