Also I can't help but think this is an indication that Johnny wants to do more in China too by first promoting good relations between the two countries

Can't believe Johnny's agency has so much influence in things, I mean it's an entertainment business for god's sake. Good news is good though :)

Yeah, when last year SMAP visited China, they were practically treated like diplomats being seen in the Great Hall of People and really high ranking Chinese officials

As a side note because it just popped into my head: Aiba met the King of Bhutan while he was there filming for that one-off enivromental special. What's even more interesting is that in order to enter Bhutan you have to have your intenerary planned ahead of time and that visit wasn't part of it, after he arrived it apparently reached someone up high that he was there and then they arranged the interview.

i like that J&A's action plans are specific. the funds they raised years ago from another earthquake were also channeled to be for the benefit of children.

I am probably like a really really horrible person because the first thought that came into my mind was "Is this a ploy to scout for foreign johnny's juniors?"

This aside, I think it's great that the fund is aimed towards children because they're the most vulnerable, in my view, when it comes to dealing with the aftermath of a disaster.
