On October 30th, Arashi’s Ohno Satoshi (30) appeared at the unveiling of “Kaibutsu-kun JET” which is the collaboration airplane between Ohno’s upcoming movie “Kaibutsu-kun” and JAPAN AIRLINES (=JAL).  The airplane is a Boeing 777-200 that’s painted with face of “Kaibutsu-kun”. The collaboration was possible because JAL empathized with the concept of the movie that is to give hopes, dreams and enthusiasm to kids.  The JET will start going into service on November 1st.

35 elementary school students were invited at the ceremony which was held at a hangar in Haneda Airport, and Ohno who made a surprise appearance for the kids, told them “It’s me! Huge, isn’t it? It’s my JET!”  Arashi’s pictures have been on JAL airplanes twice in the past, this is the third time for Ohno’s face to be printed on an airplane.

Referring to Johnny Kitagawa’s Guinness World Record , Ohno said, “I would like to aim for the Guinness World Record of having the highest number of times a face was printed on an airplane.”

The upcoming movie “Kaibutsu-kun” is scheduled to be released on November 26th in both 2D and 3D.
