yeah! That's where I know alec from too..... I heard there's a remake of Princess Pearl but nothing will beat the original!

They inserted a random white dude in the remake. O_o;;; I mean, I knew there were European diplomats in China at that time, but I really don't think they'd be spending their time frolicking with princes and princesses in the back palace.

I still have all the books. Nothing will beat Alec and Vicky for me!

And I loved Vicky so much too!!! (none of the remake actresses were good compared to her)
