I don't think another company would take her if she'd already left two - she'd be too much of a risk.

And iirc, her hiatus didn't mean her contract with Avex was terminated, which means she'd probably be going back to Avex when, and if, she comes back.

That's indeed a possibility. I guess she will come back only if Avex accepts her directions.

I liked her 3 mini-albums with Avex Trax, but they don't compare with her SWEET BLACK album (amazing). Hopefully she can find a label that will let her do something more like that. For the most part all Maki's done is ballads/slow songs with Avex.

lol maybe she should just do what Kago's done: join a small label that lets you do just about whatever you want (although I know she did have problems with her last agency). She's not doing anything huge, but she's performing more than any former Musume and gets to travel and do whatever she feels like for the most part.
