Dead Space 2 and Dead Connection

I got my 360 copy of Dead Space 2 on Thursday and it's been a great and bloody rhomp through the Titan space station so far, but there is something else dead about it: the connection to EA Servers to get my bonus content.

Has anyone else had trouble with EA's servers lately trying to connect to them for content?

Not for me personally (I've not been playing my EA games lately), but since Steam's big Christmas sale I've been hearing about their servers being unresponsive or slow.

I haven't had that issue. I just beat the game though, loved it. One tip, ALWAYS have an extra node on you for node doors, they are even more important this time around than in the first game. Now it's time to play HD Extraction and the iPhone game!

Is it any good? I'd like to play it but I get kind of twitchy with those types of games.
