I'd recomend getting a hanheld gps for geocashing rather than a car unit. Garmin has many excelent hanhelds and some are much cheeper than car models. Ask on geocacheing.com forums which are the best in the lower price range

Not in Australia. Handheld units are twice the price of car units and have less technology. Rather get a small 2.2 inch touchscreen Garmin. Cheaper, and looks nicer (and probably rubbish to use).

I would suggest the iPhone app is better than a car satnav system. SatNavs will probably just take you to the nearest road, which may not be the best way into Ground Zero. Better to use a simple pointer and maps from, for example, openstreetmap.org

I found it quite fun Geocaching much like playing treasure hunting when I was little and its neat seeing how many folks get to find your cache. I had several hidden on a natural trail. Two where found pretty easily the other has yet to be. I haven't used any iPhone apps and now a days you can get a pretty decent gps. I usually like the harder Geocaching ones where its like a little game.

i still say i prefer the heat hun, at least the heat makes me tired and sleepy. when im cold my feet hurt no matter how much i have on. two pairs of socks and two blankets and they still hurt. and i wake up and my nose feels numb.
