Modern Warefare 2: I Can See In The Dark

Last night I went to the EB launch of Modern Warfare 2. There were about 100 people there to pick up their brand new copies of the new game from Infinity Ward. Most were there for the Prestige Edition which comes with working night-vision goggles.

The whole package was just under $200AUD. As it comes with Hardened Edition that's already $120AUD, so working night vision goggles for around $80AUD. That's pretty damn cheap for that sort of technology.

Spotter night-vision monoculars start at $400AUD.

Should have pre-ordered. As far as I know, they only made enough to fill the pre orders. But check around, they might have extras.

I would have pre-ordered a copy of MW2 myself, but I have been saving up some money to buy an electric guitar. (Ya, stupid me)

I opened them right in front of everybody waiting in line and put them on, the store gave me free batteries for showing them off. I'm quite impressed with them.

I'm surprised they didn't have a pair out for examination at ours but I think everyone else was more interested in playing the game. I sucked at multiplayer, as I always do at CoD games.
