This looks like the same original that I have. (I cut it down so you could see head-to-sword w/o scrolling). The exposure's good, but the resolution is only 72 ppi, which is fine for general monitor purposes but not for dedicated drooling. I think that the "grain" lines that you can see are from the low resolution of the original scan, but I don't know much about these things.

Thanks for sharing. If I find a higher-res version, I'll let you know. Must have top-quality for my top 5 Aragorn pics!

Nothing wrong with a bit of dirt, esp. in a picture so you don't have to smell the sweat and blood!
