Let's Shake some Squee - Second Chance 1x08 May Old Acquaintance be Forgot

Mar 05, 2016 16:02

Side grammar note: Shouldn't it be "be forgotten"?

And more to the point, I can't believe this is episode 8 already. *sigh* But this is going to be sooo epic!

This way for the squee and some badass angry Duval )

squee, tim dekay, second chance

Should old acquaintance be forgot

It's a lyric from Auld Lang Syne.

Yes, I googled it. Funny thing is, I knew the old French version of that song, but had no idea it was originally from Robert Burns!
Still doesn't make it grammatically correct... ;)

Poetic license, don't question the Burn!

Great episode. I had totally forgotten the car/heroin dealer was our WC black widow!

I loved Duval's expression when his daughter slammed the door, so reminiscent of Peter when Neal or Mozzie did something he couldn't deal with.

I do hope we get a second season. This one is turning out so well. So, if we stick to schedule we're due a wink next week!

LOL yes, we are due a wink! ;)
I'm not particularly optiministic about season 2, though I'm starting to see how things could develop.

And yes, that's the black widow, but she was brunette in WC. ;)

Ok Ok, I won't question the Burn. He's lucky he's Scottish.... ;)

Finally caught up! Another good episode, and so much emotions going on! Love it! Though I don't like Otto at all right now *glares at him*

And lol, yes, WC black widow gets another sexy scene with Tim! I hadn't recognised her, but that's not unusual for me.

Well, she changed hair color... ;)

but OMG I feel like Otto is going to show his dark side more and more... He is such a complex character. A bit "on the spectrum", but still relatively functional. He does have feelings, but also shows serious psychopathic tendencies... I certainly don't like him much as a person, but he sure is an interesting character.
I think apart from Mary who seems a bit too on-dimensional, all the characters are quite well rounded.

And yes, OMG all the emotions! Poor Duval... He has a lot on his plate... (But I'd be happy to bring him some comfort. It seems he could use the comfort of a nice girl... ;) )
