You would love Kevin Smith's store, here in sunny Dirt Jersey. I've been to it. They have the buddy Jesus statue in the back. Never seen Mr. Smith there, or Mr. Snootchie Bootchies (which is a shame, 'cause I think I could really dig getting obliterated with them). Fun store though. And - even though it's been a long time since I've been into comics - they have a comic collection that defies expounding upon.

Sounds like a pretty cool shop! I heard something about Fairuza Balk owning a shop too, but I think that one was just a rumour that was going around after The Craft came out. What kind of comics do they carry?

Did I actually forget to mention that the store is called 'Jay & Silent Bob's Secret Stash'? =0p

I was trying to remember where, other than Silence of the Lambs or Jay and Silent Bob, I have recently heard this. I could swear it was in a live setting within the last couple of years. I was wracking my brain and googling around and found that Psyche plays this a lot and they were at DarkRave a few years ago. D'oh!

Not at DR but in a live setting.

Goodbye Horses is one of my favourites. As for Psyche I only have one track of theirs kicking around my mp3 library, "The Saint Became a Lush". Do you know if it's a general indication of their sound?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psyche_%28band%29

From what I can gather Psyche has been around since the early 80's so any one song probably wouldn't be indicative of their sound in general unless they were some lame-o band riding on their earlier hits. *coughSistersofMercycough*

That said, they could very well be doing the lame-o thing, I'm not sure. I remembered them being fairly good at DR but I never followed up on them to see what they were like. I actually might've bought some of their merch at the time but if I did I don't think I've listened to it. Heh heh, I've done that a few times buying CDs of bands I heard while I was out drinking thinking it was a good idea at the time and then toss the CD in the pile of "to listen to" CDs. *grin*

Anyways, give them a listen at Youtube. Seems they've had a number of videos anyways!

I still haven't got around to watching those videos yet, but I definitely will watch at least a couple of them.
