I've noticed that the people that make all the concert plans for Jrockers want to make it as inconvenient as possible for overseas fans to attend shows. It's either that they want to discourage people from going, or they want to see just how bat shit insane we all are for these cross dressers guys.
To be fair, Dir en grey did improve their timing slightly after Inward Scream, which was during a blizzard here. And by blizzard, I mean over a foot of snow and subzero temperatures and just fuck bloody awful NEVER AGAIN OH MY GODS. I know people who were going to come from out of state and had to turn back, tickets in hand, because the roads were closed because the weather was so bad. AND PEOPLE WAITED FOR 12 HOURS FOR THAT SHOW. Batshit, thy name is Chicago.
Last year's shows were in November instead of February, and the wait was mostly okay, but nowhere near as nice as waiting for Ayabie was in June.
