Yay for Hagrid still standing by Harry! It looks as though Neville is as well, it would be nice if Ron got the stick out of his ass and wised up.

I canlt help wondering just when Harry is goin to start showing his Slytherin tendencies and feeling that they won't until he actualy experiences a Quidditch game.

I wonder how much of Ron's ideas about Slytherins, etc he gets from his family (most primarily I think the oldest son who I believe went to school with Snape for a year? Percy, possibly, and his mother.) and if Peter (as Scabbers) is performing some sort of low-level magic that might be influencing the family's feelings? He has to know about Harry and be in fear for his life!

Hermione seems to have a little more gumption in this than in the books, good!

Dear Lincoln - I sometimes feel like I'm writing in a damn vacuum!! and it's so nice to hear from you :D

I'm working my way to Harry being 'Slytherin' (I've already written the next bit-chapter 7-and he's Slythedor in that . . . *wink*)

I have to confess that Hagrid, Nev and Hermione are some of my favourites - warts and all - and they will be brave one day!!???

Ron is a jealous little boy - I worry about him all the time. Family, achieving brothers, Ratty . . . he has a way to travel.

(Draco's a jealous little boy too in this 'verse - but I like to think he has potential depth. We have to wait and see . . .)
