Oh my god, guys, I WROTE SOMETHING! :D First fic I have written in GOD alone knows how long. Except itis not my pairing, and not my fandom, and *flails*!!!

The Frank stuff, fucked up but self-aware of it and trying to change, that's not something I've seen often - usually he's just a two-dimensional abusive stepfather figure. You get awesome-points for making him a person.
And the Kirk/Bones comfort bit was lovely :)
And they're both (all three, if you count his father) proud of him, which has to mess with his head.

I am so glad you like it. I jsut got this idea in my head nadit refusedto go away. It jsut.. wroteitself., LIke, I love aoternate character intrepretation. and I know people who fuck up someting epic can change, can try to make amends. so it jsut.. happened! *flails*

What is your fandom/pairing atm, anyway? I've been bouncing from TOS Kirk/Spock to reboot Kirk/Spock to Kirk/Spock/Uhura, lately.

I love it when fics insist on being written. And people changing - people changing is what makes stories stories, most times.

.. I basically was fandomless, reading whatever happened to come up on the flist in people's journals until Reboot slapped me in the face and dragged me to it and TOS goodness. Primarily it's Kirk/Spock in reboot & Tos and... Spock/Chapel in Tos. *blush* and gen. Lots andlots of gen. Sarek/Amanda. Sarek/Winona. Crack. Sulu/Chekov fluff. *flails a lot*

If we didnö t have im Kirk changing from a drunken farm boy to a aptain,we wouldnöt have reboot. So yeah :D

I reallyneed to write that fic. Right no it islike, girl!cupcake is being all "0_o Commander Spock is how strong? Oh god inappropritate hougths about an officer! Uhura will kill me! " In my head! :P

I like this pairing. In TOS I always saw a Kirk/Spock/McCoy triangle drama going on I think.. It's a nice piece, comforting. I 'should' get back to Star Wreck/Iron Sky stuff, probably need to do a Lt. Swagger/Renate Richter cross. It's a bummer that Samuli won't be starring in Iron Sky tho, who am I gonna pair now??
