I don't watch any of the shows you've just talked about, but it doesn't matter. I'm *really* enjoying your reviews :)

Hee! I'm glad you like reading them, even if you don't watch the shows. I did actually do movie reviews for my paper when I lived on Guam. I don't comment much, but I do love the political links I get from you.

Ah, that explains it :) And, you never know. I might start watching and, if I do, I'll have a good grounding, thanks to you :)

And you're very welcome. I'm trying not to overwhelm my f-list with too many political links - I'm trying to only post what I feel strongly about, these days.

There's so much to feel strongly about -- but hey, we got some good this time at least!

I finally put it together, she's the one who played Marjorie on VM in ep 2

Ahhh! Thank you! She kept looking SO familiar to me and I could not place it for anything. I feel better now. I think this show is starting to find itself a bit, and it's funnier thanks to it. It's still no HIMYM.

Speaking of, to get away from that creepy conceit, I just think that he might not be telling his kids everything WE see but that maybe there are his thoughts about what happened. I don't know. I need to make it work for me.

As for Chris, I agree, Tanya is so annoying! But that makes her so relatable, I think. I was the little sister in my family and that kind of irritating behavior feels familiar.

I was thinking she was ooh, that chick who was on the show with ALL the sisters and had very similar hair. Oh, this is gonna kill me! Anyhoo, I knew that couldn't be right because she's at least 10 years older than this character now. But, yes, I loved Marjorie.

I do think the show is getting better, and I actually like the reporter/gay couple (as long as she's not over the top), but the Duncan/married trophy wife story is soooooooooooooooooo lame.

I don't agree with your Heroes review but I can see where you're coming from. The excitement/novelty has worn off a little bit for me but it's still appointment television. I'm already invested in these characters and I'm glad that they've been picked up for the rest of the season. :)

As for S60, this was the new show I was eagerly looking forward to and I was pretty disappointed when I saw the pilot and it didn't grab me instantly. The following episodes were the same except for one episode (forgot which one it was) where I thought "NOW that's what I'm talking about!". I don't want to watch the show anymore but I can't stop watching because what if it gets better? I don't want to miss that. And since I was a very big fan of The West Wing, I have to give this a chance.

Oh, I still watch it when it airs and enjoy it. And I love Hiro and Claire. I'm glad it was picked up. It's just that my expectations for what the show could be have disappointed.
