I feel like I *should* ship them, but I don't. It's the kind of story that can play really well, and I adore Taylor Kitsch already, but I'm not too fond of the actress who plays Lyla. She's pretty, but in a bland, non-interesting way for me and I think she's by FAR the weakest actor in the cast. And then there's the biggie -- they don't have

I totally felt the same way, but now I kind of see it as them both growing. Tim's with someone "good" which he seems to take weight in, considering he asked her about exams. And she is doing something selfish; from what we have seen with Lyla, that must be new for her. Yeah they don't have JD/KB chemistry, but I don't think they are supposed to. It's more of a just get what I need from the situation sort of thing

I hope they aren't supposed to be; I admit I would be bothered if this was supposed to be the BIG love story of the show because I'm so not feeling it. She's not a good enough actress and they don't have even nearly enough chemistry to overcome that flaw.

But he sure is pretty.

Tru dat. He gets a little hotter with every viewing. I rewatched the first episode, and he's so dirty and sexy. But I am a Matt girl at heart, I think his relationship with the coach's daughter will be the "relationship" of the show.

I don't think their chemistry is great, either. I can't say I'm really rooting for them at this point. It seems she's using him to work out her own psychological issues, which never ends well.

Exactly, she's using him and is making him all woobie. Like L/V, but the difference is that I love Veronica (even when she pisses me off) and even at her bitchiest, I'm still trying to see her pov and of course, the chemistry makes me willing to put up with almost anything. Ain't happening here, she could just go bye-bye and I wouldn't mind. My most enjoyable Tim-girl moment was with the rally girl he kissed. That was great!!!

I'm sad because I rec'ed this show but haven't even watched the episode, so I can't even read this yet. But I'm going to try to catch up tomorrow.

I'm going to bed slightly early so that I can get up at a reasonable hour to give you guys the ratings. I slept til 1 PM today, and I don't have the excuse of a night job.
