Whee!! TVD premiere moved up a week, TO after....

"The Vampire Diaries spinoff The Originals, previously skedded to premiere Oct. 15 in its regular Tuesday timeslot, will now bow behind Vampire Diaries on Oct. 3, with “VD” moving up its premiere date by a week. This will give Originals its best possible lead-in before its takes over its Tuesday 8 p.m. slot on Oct. 8

I'm bummed about TO airing on Tuesdays @ 8 because that's opposite NCIS...but of course now that Ziva is leaving the show, maybe I won't care about it anymore. My biggest concern is when The Voice comes back and I'd have three choices to make. I'm just one of those people who tries to pick one thing only...because I already watch too much TV.

I'm also afraid of not like TO, once it gets underway. I mean, I hope I do, but...let's face it, Klaus is no Damon ;-)

My DVR-record 4 things at once is my best friend. :D I stopped watching NCIS a few seasons ago, but I figure I'll catch up again some summer and binge watch. Sorry about Ziva and the whole Tiva thing for you, though.

If it was just Klaus, I'd be worried I wouldn't get into it, but I can't see how I won't like it period because the people behind TVD are doing TO and I adore TO. BUT--I think I'll definitely get into it too because Rebekah... and Elijah. And did I mention REBEKAH!?!??!?! :D :D :D :D

I won't watch TO till probably about midnight or so because I'm sure I'm gonna be ALL ABOUT the TVD premiere and D/E smoochy times!! WHEE!

I actually enjoyed the episode they introduced TO with on TVD, so I'm cautiously optimistic about it! Also, think of all the possibilities for eventual crossover events...

Me too, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I'm more than cautious, I have no doubt I'll really enjoy it. Whether or not I'll be OMG! about it remains to be seen. Ah, crossovers.... so excited for that possibility!!!! Matt and Rebekah, Katherine and Elijah, Klaus and Stefan.......... WHEE!!!

I'm also very curious myself about my reaction to the show. A Katherine & Elijah reunion down the road would be amazing!

BOO! I hate when that happens. I missed the deadline accidentally this year and lost my icons and I was like ACK! But I renewed right away and they had all of them saved, so they were still there. Phew!

Just one question cause I didn't really understand..is TVD gonna air at the same time it did this year? Or earlier/later?

A week earlier. "Growing Pains" aired on October 11 last year, so it would have been close to the same date this year had they not moved it up. Unless you mean the time. It will still air at 8:00 pm on Thursdays. They ain't gonna mess with that considering that TVD is still their #1 show.

I meant the time, yes. Good, cause it was already 2 am in Italy when it airs so I figured...if it was gonna be later, there could be no way I could watch it every thursday :)
