I'm reading faithfully ever chapter! I don't have a lot to say except that I'm in love with your writing style and you can be prophetic and that is freaky. Loved jealous Elena moment and especially rant about Damon. Can't wait to read more! Please don't wait long to continue!

Just letting me know you're reading is helpful. When I post and then there are practically no responses, it doesn't really give me the drive to keep writing at any kind of fast pace.

Also, I like the idea of fic opening up the door to character discussion. Like if there are any key parts of the fic, ways the characters act/things they say that you liked, or disagreed with can open the door to discussion.

But really, yeah, it's just letting me know that it's actually being read and not just you know sitting out there being ignored. So thank you very much for commenting and letting me know that you are reading it. :)

I just have to say that I have been faithfully reading everything you've put out since I stumbled across your review for "The Departed" last summer. I was desperately trying to find something to soothe my-poor-Delena-heart after that doozy of a finale, and I was absolutely amazed by the depth of your analysis then, and your almost prophetic insight now. I never commented before because I never really had anything to add lol--you are *that* thorough.

Anyway, seeing as I absolutely ADORE this fic and do a happy dance every time I see a new chapter, I thought it high time I came out of the woodwork and tipped my DE hat to the author :)

RE: Character dialogue ... thank you so much. I really do try to get their voices down. For example, the last chapter I worked on, I went through every s2, s3 and s4 episode with Tyler to see if he ever called Caroline "Care." I knew that Matt did, but I don't care about T/C all that much, lol, so I don't pay as much attention to them. It wasn't until this season, but yup, he calls her "Care." I know that some of my own saying-isms pop up, but I really do try and sound like them. So, thank you.

And I have to work on breaking up the long monologue-ish feels, by having others interrupt, or them breaking off before continuing because it is more realistic. When I finish a chapter, I read the dialogue aloud to see how it sounds.

I think yours was the first fic I read where I really *heard* her--where she came off as "Caroline" and not just some ditzy girl.Oh, thank you so much

I loved this chapter. Caroline is exactly the Caroline I would love to see on the show. A Caroline who realizes that she is wrong and that is doing what is better for her friends, not trying to destroy relationships.

I also enjoyed the interaction between Jeremy and Bonnie. You know I love baby Gilbert :)

Finally, Elena defends Damon against Caroline! I have to say Caroline's attitude this year with Stefan against Damon has made me really dislike her, which I hate. I have enjoyed watching her evolution in previous seasons, particulary her relationship with Klaus, which I love. The other relationship I miss from other seasons is the Damon/Ric one. Hopefully, you plan to have a dialog between the two of them via Jeremy. I do like Damon's friendship with Jeremy. It seems the show may expand that this year; that would be nice. I like how you are showing Elena putting thought into her feelings for Stefan and Damon, on the one hand not really wanting to spend time with Stefan and then on the other hand, being filled with homicidal jealousy over Damon's possible interest in another. I think an epiphany may be coming soon, huh?

It was important to me that we get to that point, and it has only been a week or so in my fic, so I think it's good timing wise.

I have to say Caroline's attitude this year with Stefan against Damon has made me really dislike her, which I hate. I have enjoyed watching her evolution in previous seasons, particulary her relationship with Klaus, which I love.

I like the chemistry and story with Caroline/Klaus, but I don't ship them. My Caroline-shipping heart belongs with Stefan. Sorry. I love them so much together. Even when they're being poppy-heads. I do hope we're gonna get to a wakening soon with the reality regarding Damon and Elena for Caroline and Stefan.
