Jason Dohring clips in 'Ringer'

I clipped and uploaded the four Jason Dohring scenes from Ringer, and posted them on A Dohring Crowd. (FYI: All of Jason's scenes from Moonlight and most of his Veronica Mars scenes can be found in the post I linked to as well.)

Saw the episode yesterday. When I say saw, I mean I fastforwarded to the scenes with Jason. ;)
I thought he looked nice, I would have liked to see more of him but well, he's only a supportive character. I think the writers might have Juliet have an affair with him. What do you think?

I hope they don't go that route, and I kinda think they won't because the writers have been very cage-y in how they've addressed the question, but it's come across as if they aren't planning on going that obvious route.

As for the show overall, yeah, I'm getting to the point where I want to fast-forward past everything because we're six episodes in and I don't care about ANYONE.

I hope too, it would be a too easy plotline. Maybe he isn't as nice as he seems to be... Maybe we'll discover he has a dark side. I know I expect too much, lol.

I stopped watching since the third episode. The main plotline is too intricate/confusing and like you said I feel no empathy for the characters. I really don't care what could happen to them. That said, I hope the show won't be cancelled after the first season because I want to watch more of Jason Dohring and he deserves to be on a successful show.

I've been meaning to tell you that the other day I was channel surfing and Moonlight was on SyFy, I think. I randomly flipped over during a Jason scene, so I immediately stopped and then realized what it was -- it was a later episode that I hadn't had time to watch in your fabulous clips, so I went ahead and watched what was left--like the last half of the episode. It was really unbearable with the Mick/Beth stuff -- I mean, it was an episode where they were having some big moment in their relationship, like maybe it was the first time he was telling her he loved her, and I was just cringing. My roomie and I talked at length about how hard it must be for an actor of Jason's caliber to go from a show like VM that was really well written -- I mean, in spite of your issues with it, the dialogue on that show is ACES, I'm sure you'd agree, but everything about Moonlight was so...B Movie, you know? And then, add in some lackluster actors, and blah. What a waste. Honestly, if I were writing a TV show, I'd be wanting Jason Dohring saying my ( ... )

Honestly, if I were writing a TV show, I'd be wanting Jason Dohring saying my lines. I can't believe he isn't in more demand, but also think he must only take projects that work for him where he is.

Well, I don't know if you know this, but his dad's a billionaire (he owned and then sold the neopets at their hottest phase), so he really doesn't have to worry about money. I'm still horribly bummed about Body Politic -- it should have premiered the same year as TVD, but the stupid network picked A Beautiful Life over it. (If you check the BP tag, I think I still have the link for the "pilot" -- it wasn't really a full pilot, more a treatment, but you could really see the promise.

OMG, do you watch Ringer as well! Yay! I LOVE that show to bits! I loved Jason Dohring as Josef in Moonlight and seeing him in Ringer made me squee.

How big do you think the chance is that they are going to write it Juliet/teacher?

Erm, I do, but I don't love it at all. It started to sorta get better around the third episode, but as of this point, I just don't care about anyone except Andrew. Siohban'a cipher and Bridget's an idiot. I'm pretty much at the point where I FF random scenes, but I'll keep watching for Jason.

Jason was the only thing I liked about Moonlight. I became a huge fan after Veronica Mars, and I'll watch anything the guy does now. Sadly, the only thing I like that he's done post-VM wasn't picked up by the CW a few years back. :(

I'm thinking they aren't because they've really danced around that in interviews, but answered in such a way that made it sound like they weren't going that route.

All I did was admire his workout plan and notice that his handwriting on chalk is pretty hilarious just as it is on paper.

I absolutely LOVE Jason Dohring. He's so talented. Like, really, really talented. I used to watch Lie to Me because I'm a big Tim Roth stan, and Jason was in an episode of that. You should totally check it out if you haven't seen it. That guy just has so much charisma.

I haven't been watching Ringer because the pilot didn't really interest me, but I might check it out just for him.

I'm a PSYCHOTIC Jason Dohring fan. I own his movies on DVD. I've seen everything he's done. EVERYTHING. (I'm actually thinking of clipping his Lie to Me appearance and adding it to that link above, he was so good.)

Eh, Ringer's kinda lame, but for Jason, I'm watching. :)

ETA: Forgot to add, I stan for Tim Roth too. LOVE HIM! (Have you ever seen Captives with him and Julia Ormond? HOT!!!!!!!!
