LOL! I remember them :) I liked them together - I've always liked Robert's relationships - with Anna and Holly as well as Jackie.

That's the only picture I've ever seen of Jackie and Robert (and I cropped Luke out -- he was standing next to Robert).

My couple luck sucks so much royal monkey balls. :(

That was before my time, but I watch a lot of vintage GH clips on YouTube, so I've seen glimpses of them in each other's orbit, if not actually together. I'm a Robert/Anna fan, myself, at least to the point where I much prefer them to Robert and Holly.

Jackie was the only one I liked with Robert, although I did like both Holly and Anna. I actually hadn't seen any Luke and Laura before I started watching GH, and so I liked Luke and Holly.

(Edited cuz I got the wrong name. And I never shipped Anna with anyone except for ... Edge. Yeah, I'm one of like maybe two people who liked that developing story, thus why they squashed the idea of it pretty quickly.)

Yeah, I don't like Luke and Laura. My BFF got me an old VHS compilations of the Luke and Laura story a few years ago for Christmas since she knows I love GH and I was totally underwhelmed, and, frankly, I will never be able to get past the whole falling in love with your rapist thing. I don't like Luke very much, either, after that.

Actually, I do like Luke and Laura. I just hadn't seen them yet thus why I liked Holly with Luke. I get the whole terrible background, and had I seen that before seeing them in other stuff, I would have been turned off, but Anthony Geary and Genie Francis have INSANE chemistry and I saw their 90's stuff, and then on the run from the mob, adventures with Robert stuff well before I saw the rape, so, I do like them. What happened with the rape I just put down to the decade and the timing, and I just can't hold the magic they create on screen together against them because of an ill-advised story when Tony Geary wasn't even supposed to be a contract player ( ... )

OMGOMGOMG! Robert and Jackie!!

*ahem* Sorry 'bout that. I hope you don't mind a random person coming along and commenting. (I'll tell you why I'm here in a minute.)

I freaking loved this couple back in the early 80s. They were the only pairing ever to make me write fanfic of a soap. God, I was so invested in them. It actually took a few years before my brain finally got the message, "OH! Don't ship soap couples, stupid. It's always going to turn out badly and break your heart." (A lesson I keep refusing to learn about Doctor Who, but that's another story...) I can't believe there's anyone who even remembers them at all.

Anyway, sorry again about the random butting in. I got here while googling for the questions for the 30 Day Love Meme. I've seen it around a couple of journals and thought it might be an interesting thing to do, but no one ever posts the list of questions. You're the only one I've seen who posts the already answered questions, in fact. Do you happen to have the questions for the rest of the month?

Aww, nice to know that I am not the only one. Sadly, I have not learned my lesson with soaps and am still watching them ( ... )

Oh, I pretty much gave up on soaps because of the writers making things too stupid to stand anymore. But I still remember loving certain characters, though. And in the last couple of years two of my three erstwhile soaps got cancelled anyway, so I did manage to "see them out" by watching periodically.
