'Life' and 'Life on Mars'

So I figured out why I'm not enjoying Life this season as much ... the only thing it now has that differentiates it from other procedurals is the off-center brilliance of Damian Lewis. Sadly, that's not enough. The cases are pedestrian, the one-liners/quips are more standardized that you'd find on just about any procedural and the arc-mystery is

Yanno, I don't watch Life on Mars (I saw the first episode, wasn't drawn in) but for whatever reason I caught the last ten minutes tonight...and I saw so much chemistry between Sam and Windy (didn't know her name, haha, just thought she was adorable) and absolutely none with Annie. She's just...dry. :-/

Yeah, so maybe when I clip the Sam/Windy scenes I'll put them up for you, huh? Seriously, those two are ADORABLE and just brimming, BRIMMING, I tell ya!, with chemistry. Love them so much. I forget just how awesome and chemical and adorable they are until I see them again. He and Annie? As dull as watching paint dry. Sigh. And Jason O'Mara just seems so tired and alone even in scenes with Gretchen Moll's Annie, but with Windy, he, thus Sam, just come to life!

Yay, clips! I think the lack of chemistry with Annie is really why I didn't get into the show *shrug* I'm a typical girl, hah, I need romance to get me emotionally involved in a show, and if I don't get involved I'm not gonna watch it.
