I did my overnights this weekend, so I have today and tomorrow off. Yay!! Catching up on sleep and TV. On the agenda first ... 24!!
(
Oh, hell, just in case. Slight spoiler alert for 'The Dark Knight' in addition to last night's episodes, of course. )

There's definitely something going on there.
Considering Jack (and we) saw Tony die, I rather like how they calmly glossed over, yeah, well, you saw him die, but even though you're an expert in death and all that, he wasn't really dead and we super-secret-magically resurrected him seconds after you left.
I was trying to think *how* Tony died - didn't he get shot in the head? Or am I thinking of someone else? Oh well, no matter. *handwaves* :D
but I still miss David Palmer.
He was the best President EVER.
I was watching the two planes and you gotta say it about this show, eight years, and I STILL could totally buy that Tony'd crash 'em because you. never. know. with. this. show.
YES.

IIRC, he was stabbed in the neck with a syringe containing some sort of deadly drug, that he'd been intending to kill what's-his-name with.

However I heard the MLR was pregnant when filming started, so... they might cut back on her screen time..

Hmm I actually didn't really mind agent Walker too much. At least 24 is bringing in strong female characters (like Michelle and Chloe) again, and not more Audrey, dianne, and whatever the hell his brother's wife's name was, types.
I too am LOVING the Jack emo over Tony stuff. I'm happy Tony's back even if he might be bad. He was one of my favourite characters, and I was just gutted when they killed him off. I'm secretly hoping he's not really bad though. *cough*
I miss Chloe too!!!! But I hope Morris isn't as prominent in the series this year! Carlo Rota totally STOLE MLR's thunder last season.
And yeah I hope Chloe is back to her totally snarky, slightly socially inept, and totally mad about Jack self, whenever she does come back!!
I dunno, I'm just so happy Tony's back.... still I kinda hope he's good b/c if he's bad he'll probably just wind up getting killed off again...and that would suck!

Oh I'm also kinda happy about Colm Feore being on the show, yay Canadian actors!! :P But that could mainly be b.c he's also Canadian, and he was on one of my favourite shows of all time Slings and Arrows (in the 2nd season)...but still...

Yeah, but Rachel McAdams is only in season one. And yeah its about the lives of, well basically Canada's Stratford Festival, but it could be any theatre company that performs Shakespeare. Its hilarious! The first season they are putting on Hamlet, and the main character (who had a nervous breakdown playing the Prince of Denmark) gets called in to direct the new production of Hamlet after his good friend and mentor passes away. He starts to see the ghost of his mentor, and others begin to question his sanity. It was a really well done and funny series.

I think they have something goig on too though i also thik they are going to do the 'love interest' angle with Jack as well. I rather it be Chloe, personally because those two kick ass together.
I don't know when Chloe is showing up, but hopfully soon. :)
Anyway, I thought it was a great start to the season and I'm looking forward to tonight.

And long-time friends who both can snark like nobody's business.
Wait, Mary Lynn Rajskub and Janeane Garafalo are friends? Or their characters are? Either way, that's pretty cool. :)
Dude, Jack was totally going to stab that guy in the eardrum with a pen. Were this real life, I'd be horrified. But it's not. It's 24! It's Jack Bauer!! Therefore, it was AWESOME!!!
That...pretty much sums up my entire feeling about the show. :D
I'm not entirely sold on Tony being 100% evil yet (having only seen Sunday's ep) -- he didn't crash those planes, after all. :)

Uhm, Rajskub and Garafalo are friends in real life, long-time buddies. Sorry about the confusion.
Can't wait to see what you think of last night's two hours.
