Quick TV thoughts, no really, they ARE quick! (Go me!) ...

Law & Order (No spoilers) - FABULOUS season-opener. Really, just kick-ass. I love this show so much. So, so, so much. And while I miss Jesse L. Martin, I've always loved Anthony Anderson and he's doing great. Just great, great season opener. And the last line was AWESOME!!! (I ( Read more... )

Glad I'm not the only one not invested in TAR this season. I missed this past week's episode, and I didn't really care. There's no one I really despise (except Terrence is pretty bad) and no one I really love, so yeah, hard to care, it's all about the scenery.

Completely agree with you on HIMYM - I trust these writers. I felt some Ted/Robin vibes, too, but that's okay, because whatever happens with them will make sense, I'm sure of it. Plus, I still definitely think they're heading towards Barney/Robin - there's no way they've brought all this up just to drop it. I don't mind them dragging it out over this season, though I have to say I'm super curious about how they're going to go about Robin reciprocating Barney's feelings, since I'm sure she will (eventually).

Yeah, I mean, I love it, it's TAR, but I'm not just LOVING it like I usually do. I mean, Dallas and Toni are the ONLY couple I even like at this point, I either can't stand or am totally meh on everyone else.

Yes, re: HIMYM, it's nice to know there are still people out there who genuinely love the show and that it's not all about Barney/Robin. I LOVE them, but the show is so much more than that and whatever happens, I TRUST Carter and Bays.

I am curious too as to how/when it will turn around for Robin.

I do like Toni and Dallas but I don't love them say like Ozzie and Danny. And I think it's mostly because the show doesn't focus on them very much. So I don't think they are going to win unless we are getting a TK and Rachel edit. They were sort of under the radar for awhile too. Still I love the difficulty of the challenges and this week was awesome.

I adore Mother too. I hate the Ted/Robin vibe though. Haven't we been there done that?

I loved this week's DWTS result's show. So much fun.

Replace Neil, and yeah, that is how I feel about them.

I'm not happy about the Robin/Ted vibe, but I'm still not sure anything will come of it. But if it does, I still trust them.

DWTS was fabulous. I tell ya, I still think they're holding out hope for a Hough/Hough showdown in the finale AND with Julianne and Derek being "the pros they chose," it's even more likely, I think.

(Hey, you and brandyleigh have matching icons. Hee!)

You liked L&O? I have to agree with the person who said I could NEVER see Jack McCoy -- such a staunch defender of individual rights and the "little guy" -- arguing those men were terrorists. :x It just...seemed very irresponsible (and out of character) for me. :/

I enjoy "The Mentalist," too -- although it's mostly because my sister likes it so much, and we can squee together over the brilliance of Patrick Jane. ;p

I did love L&O. I think the reason why I could see Jack doing it is because I'm pretty hard-core against the death-penalty and have always thought that if I ever became a lawyer, I'd always be defense, etc. etc. and I was SOOO infuriated and utterly disgusted by what they did that I wanted justice done. Somehow, someway. And damnit, THEY DID INSPIRE TERROR. It was awful that innocent people were maimed and injured because of what those morons did.

And so I bought it because of that and bought that Jack would go there because he knew, somewhere deep inside, that they'd get some other kind of deal. They'd get these guys somehow and that was the only way they had of getting the door open.

squee over the brilliance of Patrick Jane

Honestly? I think that's why it's the number one new TV show. That's why EVERYONE watches it.
