Dancing with the Stars Premiere Week

Because of all of the TV conflicts on Monday night, I didn't get to watch the first show until today, and thus the following nights had to wait as well. I wrote up my thoughts as the show aired, so I didn't jump ahead and spoil myself.

I agree with most of what you posted except for the Lance/Lacey love. I've never seen SYTYCD. Lacey just bugs me for some reason, I can't quite place my finger on it. They should have given Lance to Julianne, boo! I like Cody but I don't think he's going to go far (unless he becomes really, really good).

Is it true Rocco is gay? I read that somewhere and I couldn't and wouldn't believe it.

So true what you said about Misty and Maks looking like two guys dancing. I love, LOVE Misty but her physique is quite distracting here. She's too muscular. I just hope she learns how to be graceful and be soft in the coming weeks. I want to see her win.

It's funny because that's how I felt during her STYTCD, but I guess she eventually grew on me and now I just like her and accept her as Lacey.

They should have given Lance to Julianne, boo! I like Cody but I don't think he's going to go far (unless he becomes really, really good).

Don't discount the teeny-bopper vote and he did surprisingly well I think.

I've never heard that, but I don't follow him. I just know that I liked watching him move!

Aw Lance and Lacey are still my faves too so we aren't that far off. I just didn't like their quickstep that much. I'm sorry about Ted. He did have potential but DWTS is as much a popularity contest as it is about the dancing and he just didn't have a fanbase.

I think my second tier will solidify more after next week. I think Derek and Brook are probably the faves right now with the judges and the crowd. I think Tori has the technique to do well. The whole heart thing is boring and overkill and you're right about there not being enough passion yet. Misty May also has the potential to get there and I think Rocco is winning the charm crown. I've just always read that he is such a jerk in real life. That has just colored my opinions a little.
