Yeah, I do love a lot of Mia's stuff -- even some that many don't like, but this one? Hello? There was so little dancing, and the two do NOT have any kind of couple chemistry, so they couldn't even sell that aspect for me. But of course, the judges tongue-bathed all over it. Of course.
I haven't seen the Chelsie/Mark dances yet as I've been watching on YouTube, but I did really love Courtney and Gev's Hip-Hop. I'm really impressed with Courtney so far; actually, I'm really impressed with all the dancers this year. Very, very strong technique all around.
And I so agree about the Mia piece for Katee and Joshua. I love Mia's choreography but she's at her best when she's doing slower, more romantic/emotional stuff. Her fast-paced abstract pieces usually suck. She did something similar for Allsion and Ryan in the second season and even though they danced it well, it looked like crap. Some choreographers are great at stuff like that, but she's really not.
