Dancing with the Stars (night two)

Before I go into thoughts on the ladies tonight, I did want to address the Julianne comments made in response to last night's post. If I offend anyone, I'm truly sorry and I don't mean to. I just adore Julianne and really can't fathom the dislike. I know it's to each their own, but it's so frustrating when people whose opinions I respect differ

I know you like Julianne and it's great you support her. In the end, that's all we ever do anyway. I hope I wasn't hurtful in my comments yesterday. See you know Jennifer I have never been a Julianne fan. I liked Apolo but even during his season I was rooting for Laila. So you know I'm not being hypocritical when I say things that are critical of her. She's just not my cup of tea. But I fully support your right to go flaming after those of us who critique her

Oh, you weren't hurtful and I know that you've long not been a Julianne fan. I just was trying to explain why I don't think she can win with those who aren't her fans now, and where I thought she was coming from and why she was okay

Goodness, if anyone has the right to be offended it's you, not people who've criticized your favorite! I do hope I haven't offended you, but don't even think twice about the other way around. You're of course entitled to your opinion. :)

For the record...

If she stood there stoic, I'm sure some would have found fault with that (she thinks she's above the judges' critique or something).

This is what I think she should've done. But I recognize she has a more outgoing personality than some of the other dancers, and is also younger, so I'm sure it's harder. And the smiling didn't bother me -- the pouting did. JMHO.

Haven't seen the women yet, so I can't comment, but I do apologize if you felt offended. :( You know I loved Julianne with Apolo, but because I think he was her perfect partner, I haven't really gotten into her dancing since. A/J were just awesome. :D

No, you haven't offended me (nor has Gerrie), it was just the overall criticism that I was reading and I didn't get the annoyance with her pouting. But again, me=uber-Julianne-fan.

I know you loved Julianne/Apolo. I still love her, but I actually haven't gotten into her partner dancing either since him, but I do still love to watch HER dance.

How can anyone NOT like Julianne? The horror! Just kidding. I totally get where you're coming from because it also irks me sometimes (okay, always) when people say bad things about Julianne but I've learned to just ignore those and move on. I like Julianne, I don't care if anyone else doesn't like her. Potato, potahto. No point in dwelling in it, right?

It would be great if Julianne lasts for a while on the show just to spite all the non-fans, heh.

It would be great to continue to see her, but I just don't think she'll be here longer than another week or two. Oh well.
