'Serenity' Miniseries?

Well, I'm only MILDLY perturbed with Entertainment Weekly right now. They did a small interview with Joss Whedon and mentioned in the intro this:

Grrrr. Really? They didn't ask? And he didn't mention it himself? I am miffed! I am this close to e-mailing him and asking -- purely out of spite -- who he was going to cast as Wonder Woman! LOL.

Serenity miniseries - fingers-crossed! Is it for comics? I know they have it for BtVS but it just isn't the same.

I'm excited for Ripper.

No info at all. I'm hoping it's an ACTUAL miniseries with the ACTORS! My only fear is that if it is, that Joss will do something with Mal/Inara and the ending of "Serenity" really gave River/Mal fans an incredible door to look through.

I'm hoping for the actors back on the screen since the chemistry of the cast is amazing. The Special Edition DVD of Serenity looks cool, especially with the news that the commentary will feature Nathan and Summer!

There is so much left to tell about the characters of Serenity. I read that the DVD sales will determine their fate.
