Holy wow!

I knew just from reading the first paragraph that this was going to be good. I KNEW IT. & I was right,this was amazing. Truly amazing.
Your writing style is really captivating,I couldn't peel my eyes away,just waiting to see what was going to happen next. The flashback was so sweet,really emotional. And you really delivered each feeling in this whole story with pinpoint accuracy.
Everything felt so real. You described everything so perfect.
I really loved the bit with the socks,how Carlito hung them up and wrote their names on them like stockings. So sweet.

And the video at the end just made THAT much more of an impact.
This was truly phenomenal.

Oh wow. I guess there is really nothing to say to a comment like that, except... thank you.

I am going through a disconnect, right now, with my own brother. I didn't write it with the intent that it would be so close to my life but it came through that way in the end. So, I guess it helped to draw from my own experience.

And yeah, that video and those lyrics? They make me cry every time. I find The Colons to be a very entertaining pair and I love the few interactions that have happened between them. You can really see the chemistry and love there.

I'm sorry to hear about that,gathering from the story that you had similarly rough circumstances. But the fact that you were able to take those hardships and turn them around and create such a wonderful piece of work..that's truly astounding!

I read what you said about the story in your fic recommendation, and along with this? You are really succeeding in making me blush. It took me four months to finish it, but I'm glad it turned out well.

It was never as rough as portrayed, but I can relate. It adds to the idea that writing can definitely be helpful.
