We visited Suffolk University today, and I think it will be great for Samurai. I'm very impressed, and having driven both ways and hiked all over the "campus" (which is really a number of buildings scattered all around the Boston Beacon Hill area, not a contiguous "campus" like one usually imagines), I am also beat ( Read more... )

Oh, Boston! I spent four glorious years schlepping around the crazy subways and byways of Boston and I loved every minute! I hope Samurai will have the time of her life in this wonderful city, meet great people and lose her heart to all those intrinsicly Boston experiences ......... lazing on a spring day on either the Garden or the Common, walking the Commonwealth Mall at twilight, wandering through the galleries of Mrs. Jack Gardner's Palace, Sunday morning at the Arilington Street church (a vibrant UU congregation!), real pizza in the North End!
Do catch us up on your day when you have a minute. (And what a drive, both ways, yikes!)

:D I'm actually looking forward to going in for daytrips to see her -- but I think I'll take the direct bus from Amherst!
