Tho I'm still kinda jealous :p all I ever see in my backyard (also located in the woods) are coyotes, deer and raccoons.

This was pretty unusual. I don't think my parents have had moose come into their front yard before. I'd be nervous about it too! You know that Mama moose is going to be protective of her babies. I for one wouldn't want to be charged at by a moose.

That's what i was thinking--They can get pretty aggressive *especially* the mothers. They will give chase!! You gotta be in the thick of it to get moose in walking through your yard... Do bears come around too?

It's funny, the entire time I lived out there w/ my parents I never saw a bear. The one time I thought I heard a bear it turned out to be my mother sneaking through the underbrush in the woods and making bear noises to scare the crap out of me and my sister, lol. Mostly it was deer, rabbits and the occasional coyote.
