Apparently, the 'IBS' attack on Monday evening which left me off work all week was in fact a gallstone attack. I know this because I had another last night, and I went to the out-of-hours doctors' clinic this morning to check. The taxman gave me some money! It was a tax rebate from 2003-2004, which I didn't claim or anything. That's the year I started working for the university, and with my recent change of post I suspect the personnel person has done something super competent with tax codes and stuff. Huzzah!

I started my new job on Tuesday. It's going really well so far. I'll be working Tuesday-Friday, with a bit of a short day on Friday because that's how many hours I'm doing. Which suits me just fine.
