Poor Billy. :(

My heart really aches for both of them here, in a way, they've both lost a child through Billy's death. But as Bill notes, they have barely any time left, and he'll have plenty of time to mourn them both very soon. :( Lovely drabble.

Thanks!! *sniff* Hard to write Billy and not get emotional!! We miss the boy so much!! This is one I really should write from Laura's pov as well. That would be interesting. :)

I will have to go back and ponder what else may have been going on. I always just thought it was Laura losing Billy and the future she saw for the fleet politically. Yes YAY!! for happy days. We'll take whatever we can get!! :)

So sad and poignant to see what Bill thought about Billy and Laura's losing him, and then trying to balance whether to say something or let it go. Nicely done 1st person :-)
