This is such a wonderful time in their relationship, there is so much potential and so much subtext, and you really capitalize on that here. I absolutely LOVED the closing line. It really packs a punch. Nicely done!

Woo hoo!! We are rocking the ar fics today!! I hadn't written the day after the "dance" so I thought it would be an interesting scene. Poor sore and swollen Bill and Laura her usual sarcastic self, but underneath she is as broken as he is by the ferocity of the fight and all that it meant. Bill needed some tender lovin' care and she needed to give it. :)

That fight was pretty brutal, Laura must have been shaken up seeing Bill so bloodied. She needed to make him feel better with her brand of TLC and of course a creamy chai latte after!! Heh!!
